Chemical Peel

Chemical peels are performed using medical grade formulas from SkinCeuticals and PCA.

Chemical peels offered at Cedar Rock Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics use an array of beta-hydroxy acids and alpha-hydroxy acids that exfoliate and stimulate cell turnover to brighten and restore the skin’s complexion. These peels range in strength and will be personalized based on the patient’s needs and skin type. Chemical peels can help with pigmentation, acne, fine lines, age spots, dull and dry skin, and mild acne scarring.

Recovery and downtime are based on the strength of the peel. Most commonly, you will experience redness immediately after the treatment with a light peel over 5-7 days. Post treatment regimen will include daily light cleanser and moisturizer avoiding exfoliation, retinol, and direct sun exposure.
